Ravens look good in 20-10 victory over the Eagles
The Ravens looked like a good team Thursday night. The offense was clicking as Steve McNair completed 14 of 18 passes for 148 yards in the first half. The only negative when McNair was in the game is the lack of points the first-team offense put up (3 in the first half). Jamal Lewis was running hard gaining 27 yards on 9 carries. McNair also hooked up with old buddy Derrick Mason 7 times for 72 yards.
In the second half, the Ravens exploded. Kyle Boller completed 4 of 7 passes for 115 yards and a TD. Boller has been looking real sharp this pre-season. Big running back Musa Smith is having a terrific camp and pre-season. Smith ran the ball 4 times for 55 yards (13.8 ypc), one of those carries was a 43 yard TD run. Smith also caught a pass for 36 yards. WR Davard Darling had an excellent game too, catching 5 passes for 121 yards and a TD (27 yarder). Darling is moving up the depth chart.
The defense also looked sharp holding the Eagles to 62 yards rushing on 20 carries. They also held the Eagles to a net 185 yards passing on 18 of 37 attempts.
