The Baltimore Ravens thrashed the Steelers for the second time this season with yesterday’s game taking place in Pittsburgh.  This game eliminated the defending Champs from the playoffs.  This was never a close game.  Steve McNair looked great as he connected on 21 of 31 passes for 256 yards with 3 TDs and 2 INTs.  Jamal Lewis had a decent game running the ball as he carried it 24 times for 77 yards (3.2 ypc) and a TD.  FB Ovie Mughelli even got to carry the ball 4 times for 21 yards (5.3 ypc).  Mark Clayton led the Ravens receivers with 7 receptions for 108 yards and a TD.  Todd Heap had a solid game with 4 catches for 50 yards.  Demetrius Williams and Daniel Wilcox each caught TD passes from Steve McNair.

The Ravens beat up on Ben Roethlisberger again as they sacked him 5 times.  The Ravens stuffed the Steelers running game, holding them to 63 yards rushing on 18 carries (3.5 ypc).  The Steelers also only completed 19 of 42 passes for 188 net yards passing, and the Ravens picked-off 2 passes.

The Ravens absolutely dominated the Steelers this year as they swept them and outscored them 58-7 this season.  The Ravens improved to 12-3 on the season with this win.
