3. (71) Tavares Gooden, OLB
Tavares Gooden is an impressive physical specimen as he stands 6’1″, 233 pounds and he runs a 4.65 40. He’s a little raw in the fact that he sometimes runs into his own players trying to make a tackle. But, his aggressiveness is probably also hit greatest asset on the field. Look for the Ravens to coach Gooden up to avoid making the same mistakes he made in college. Gooden played in 49 games (27 starts) at Miami (Fla.) and he made 237 tackles, had 18 tackles for a loss, 1/2 a sack, broke up 8 passes and had 1 interception. Look for Gooden to help out on special teams and be a backup as a rookie. But, he has a huge upside if the Ravens’ coaches do a good job with him.
