The Ravens have watched linebacker Bart Scott sign with the Jets for six years and $48 million bucks.  Scott played in all 16 games for the Ravens last season and he made 82 tackles, defensed 5 passes, had 1.5 sacks and he forced 2 fumbles.  Scott finished his career with the Ravens having played in 109 games in which he made 433 tackles, defensed 22 passes, had 16 sacks, forced 4 fumbles and intercepted 3 passes.  This will hurt the Ravens’ run defense big time as Scott is a pretty good player.

The Ravens have signed 25-year old CB Domonique Foxworth to a 4-year, $27.2 million dollar contract.  Foxworth played in 14 games for the Falcons last season and he made 38 tackles, defensed 11 passes and intercepted one.  He has now played in 60 games in his NFL career and he has made 211 tackles, defensed 38 passes, forced 3 fumbles and he has intercepted 4 passes.  The Ravens needed help at CB but the price tag for Foxworth appears to be excessive.
