The Ravens reached for a need here as Pro Football Weekly didn’t even have Webb getting drafted at all let alone the 3rd round.  But, it’s hard to attack GM Ozzie Newsome who has found a lot of nuggets at small schools like Nicholls State.  Webb is 5’10″, 179 pounds so he’s on the small side but he runs a 4.46 40.  In two seasons at Nicholls State, Webb picked off 7 passes and broke up 15 others.  He is also was a dynamo on special teams returning 3 kicks for TDs while amassing 425 yards on punt returns and 1,060 yards on kickoffs.  The Ravens have a need at corner so Webb will get every opportunity to show that he belongs.
