Ray Lewis has been outstanding as usual for the Baltimore Ravens
Despite his age Ray Lewis is playing like a mad man. He has 45 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble and he has defensed 3 passes already this season. Lewis has 19 more tackles than anyone on the Ravens as he is still making plays from sideline to sideline on both sides of the line of scrimmage. The Ravens hope that Lewis can maintain this level of play the whole year long.
I don’t know how this guy does it year after year. Not only is he the best football player on the field pretty much every time he is out there, he is also the most intense and determined player. That is one of the reasons I think he has been able to keep up his stellar play over the years, along with his obvious physical gifts. The guy goes out and plays every game like it will be his last, which you have got to love in an era of prima donnas. I’m sure every “old school” player and coach love this guy, and he deserves all of the praise and accolades that come his way.
