The Baltimore Ravens were 12-4 last year and they made some improvements to the roster offensively.  The Ravens only play five games against teams with winning records in 2010.  So it’s all systems go for the Ravens in 2011.  I would say that a big bet on the over would be the way to go.  Just pray that nothing happens to Joe Flacco.

The Ravens went 9-7 last season but they expected more and this year they will have it.  The Ravens do play a tough schedule this season but they improved big time with the additions of Anquan Boldin and T.J. Houshmandzadeh.  I see the Ravens winning 11 or 12 games in 2010 so I would take the over with confidence.  For those bettors who like to bet Super Bowl futures, the Ravens are a solid pick at 10-1.

I think the smart money takes the over and hopes Steve McNair stays healthy.  RB Willis McGahee is much faster than Jamal Lewis which should help the Ravens run more effective on the perimeter.  Also, look for the Ravens to take advantage of #3 WR Demetrius Williams’ explosive speed when teams cheat up to stop the run.  The defense will again be one of the best in the NFL due to the awesome talent they have in every unit.  Take the over with confidence.
